The Educational Project is the document that enshrines the educational orientation of the Child Care Centre and supports its philosophy and Pedagogical Model.
At Xilling Baby, we advocate for a pedagogical model of intervention with an eclectic curriculum inspired by two methodologies: High-Scope and Project, which defend the child as the main author and builder of new skills based on prior knowledge and meaningful experiences.
This learning is supported by the plan-do-review process, in which the child takes an active role, participating, collaborating, and expressing their interests, exercising their initiative and autonomy. Our process, supported by our 4 pillars of action, evolves alongside each child.

Pedagogy
Our educational model aims for the harmonious and global development
of children, the construction of their identity, and integration into the group, which is intended to be multicultural and respectful of others.
The pedagogical action of the Xilling Baby teachers is governed by the curricular guidelines, in a pedagogical practice based on socio-constructivist references, articulating the contents with the appropriate skills for each age group and the interests of the children, in order to promote their integral development, from 2 months to 6 years of age.
In the areas of curriculum enrichment, teachers work in a pedagogical team with specialised teachers of English, Physical Education, and Music.
Affection
Affection is an essential part of our relationship with our children
and with their parents. We believe that it is through dedication and affection that
trust is built, creating the best learning environment in this pivotal phase for the structuring of Being.
Space
All areas of our facilities have been designed from the ground up, sized and equipped to accommodate children with very different needs, from 2-month-old babies to 6-year-olds.
We privilege the interaction between everyone, from the outdoors, contact
with the natural environment (water, land, plants) and safety.
With the support of a 24-hour video surveillance system and a security guard at the entrance,
we constantly control everyone that enters and leaves. We have also adopted a system
of electronic cards, with restricted access, in order to guarantee the tranquility and security of all those who are part of this Educational Community.
Proximity
We are located in the central area of the city, close to you so that you can easily access the daycare and nursery, within the ideal times, with the promotion of a facilitated routine for parents and children being of the utmost importance. We are in the new Baixa of Maputo, in the heart of the JAT Center, right next to many fathers and mothers who work in this area of the city.
